QGE Underground Dry Utilities Work
Most QGE underground dry utilities work falls into one of two areas - working for utilities or working for developers.
In working for developers, we have had the opportunity to work on commercial sites - as well as single and multi-family residential developments (ranging from a few homes to more than 300 homes). We are committed to giving the same quality service to all of our clients.
Tragically, during the firestorm of 2007, much of San Diego was engulfed by wildfires. These wildfires ultimately claimed thousands of homes and businesses. As the fires were contained, QGE was tasked by local utility provider SDG&E with beginning repair work to the affected areas. For seven days a week, for a six-week duration, QGE worked fourteen to sixteen hour days; this work involved removing damaged electric poles, replacing these with new poles, digging holes, performing erosion control, and more.
